Waaaay back in time, in 1973, Great Britain joined the EEC. That event is a mere footnote in history compared to the main event of 1973: the official beginnings of Andy Park Promotions! As a pro musician for 40 years now my career in music has, in recent times, taken me far away from my local area. But, with regard to playing local gigs in Cumbria and South West Scotland (which continues to this day) there has only ever been one agency that I have been able to rely on for all of those 40 years ... and that's Andy Park. I work with Andy Park Promotions because it works well, why change a habit of a lifetime, since before his 21st Birthday lol. Exciting times because he sends me to obscure places even the sat nav cannot find!

For over thirty years now I have been taking bookings from Andy Park Promotions (not as far back as his first act –the animals for “Noah’s Ark”) and in all those years I don’t think I have ever turned up to a venue where it wasn’t as I was told. Advertising is always great with Andy’s professional looking posters. After doing the booking which is always a pickup there is of course a downside in that I have to pay commission but no worries the craic with Andy is worth a Fiver any day of the week.

I have been in partnership with Andy in the Mermaid Bar in Southerness, South West Scotland. He offers an outstanding service along with being a fantastic fellow where nothing is too much trouble. 100% reliable and professional I absolutely recommend his services. The talent pool he provides really is amazing and we will never use anybody else. Just to mention a few (too many to mention them all) but I would highly recommend all of the performers with special mention to John Penn, Escapade, Tony Richards, KJ Wood, Pete Hoban and of course Nikki.
